Naked Protesters & Nude Activists

News Flash! I noticed a zillion more search engine hits from people searching for naked protesters. Sure enough, there was a naked protest today in New York. Google it yourself for details, but don’t bother with the U.S. news outlets. One of them was showing coy photographs of ankles and feet, inside of dropped trousers. Fortunately, I found an overseas news site with this picture (no link, because it’s registration only):

The caption: “Naked activists protest outside Madison Square Garden, where the Republican National Convention is to be held next week.”

Here’s a couple of naked protesters in the Hague in 2002. Apparently they were exercised over a Spanish water development project, according to this story.

Photographer Sean Rivinus has two nice pictures of a nude PETA girl here. These are considerably more entertaining than the usual news photos, which tend to be coy in how they arrange the shot.
