Funny, if you think fake nudity is funny. Here’s a long video showing a PETA “naked” protest — two female activists lying in coffins to spread awareness of bird flu. Interesting video in that it shows them setting up, something you don’t usually see. Here’s one of the girls sitting up in her coffin:

And waving for the camera, a bit of “boob” showing:

Then we see her sister activist getting set up, wrapped in a bathrobe and taking elaborate care to slide the robe off while getting the sign and the flowers set up to protect her “nakedness”:

Only, uh oh, all that elaborate modesty? It’s a fraud. She forgot that cameras have zooms these days, and a quick zoom in reveals her flesh-colored tank top:

Look, it’s no secret that PETA’s naked protesters usually wear flesh-colored garments. But in that case, why the blushing virgin act?

Here we see some cops handing a naked anti-fur protester over a fence. She appears to be handcuffed, which would explain why her arms aren’t up in an effort to break that cop’s painful squeeze grip on her right breast:

ORLANDO, Florida - An appeals court has ruled that women can demonstrate topless as part of a legitimate political protest, striking down the arrest of a woman who has repeatedly flouted laws banning women from publicly going bare breasted.

The Seventh Judicial Circuit Court of Appeals on Oct. 5 upheld a county judge’s opinion that Elizabeth Book could protest topless on the city’s Main Street Bridge.

Book was arrested by Daytona Beach police and fined $253 during Bike Week in March 2004. The city said she violated an ordinance banning public nudity that was passed in 2002 to curb indecency at special events.

The email forwarding this photo says it appeared in the Daily Californian, so it’s presumably yet another Berkeley protest. Grievance unknown, but the girls are pretty, and the clear plastic some of them are wearing is a bonus for shrink wrap fetishists:

Eight local activists displayed their lighter sides yesterday, marching in the nude down Telegraph Avenue to express their distaste for the current presidential administration.

The 13th annual “Nude and Breast Freedom Parade,” organized by the X-plicit Players of Berkeley, marched under the theme “Get Your Bush Out to Get Bush Out.”

Only speculating here, but this could be a protest to protect community gardens, or perhaps against suburban landscaping water rationing?

This, presumably, is more college hijinks than protest, but whenever the lady’s crew team takes off their shirts, it makes a worthy photo:
