Naked Protesters & Nude Activists

This gagged protesting woman’s photograph dates from last December’s protest over the arrest of Julian Assange:

This is obviously one of the lovely ladies of FEMEN, and apparently she’s protesting in Kiev for the right to winter heating. Yes, that’s snow on the grass behind her:

All the way back in 2004, Naked Protesters brought you a couple of pictures (see here and here) of an Act Up! protest in New York, in support of better foreign aid to AIDS-ridden countries. Here’s another nice photo of that demonstration:

If I’ve run my Google translates correctly, this picture is from a 2009 student protest in Brazil, where folks turned out (naked, of course!) in support of a woman expelled for wearing a mini-dress:

This is said to be a labor protest of sorts — the nude “life” models of Paris taking to the streets back in 2008 to demand “a pay increase, proper contracts and…respect for their craft.”
